To get the legal stuff out of the way, all the horrifying monsters in this document are original and protected under copyright. But to all you fan artists, remix goblins, and creative cryptids:
You may draw, reimagine, or lovingly torment these entries through fanworks. Just credit _DemoX as the source.
Slap “based on the Codex by _DemoX” somewhere obvious. That’s all I ask.
No selling. No claiming. No feeding The Splinterbreed after midnight.
The living, breathing ones. Most beings in this section will tear your heart out without a second thought. Others offer spiritual enlightenment.
Origin: The Abyss
Known Titles: The Memory Feeder, The Whispering Nest, That Which Sings
Appearance:
A spider-shaped abomination constructed from fragmented memories, shattered code, and corrupted nostalgia. Limbs shimmer with forgotten lullabies. Eyes are hollow yet too familiar. Skin pulses with half-faded echoes of childhood.
Behavior:
Mimir lures prey using perfect facsimiles of loved ones, mentors, or traumatic figures—each recreated with horrifying precision. It sings while weaving a victim into its web—a lullaby stitched together from half-remembered childhood tunes and corrupted system sounds.
Lullaby:
Hush now, little echo,
hush your weary head,
The stars forgot your name again,
just dream instead.
